Senior Hannah LeBlanc was nominated for Bear of the Week by Jeannie Alexander and Carlie Ford. LeBlanc is involved in cheer, Interact, Bear Believers, and cosmetology. She is also active in her church youth group.
LeBlanc said her mom is her biggest role model because she is a hard worker. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and shopping in her free time.
In the future, LeBlanc’s goal is to get a college degree and then travel the world. Her favorite class this year is financial math because it teaches her about real world things.
If she could give advice to her younger self, it would be, “Listen to your mom always.” LeBlanc’s favorite part of going to LCM is seeing her friends. She stays motivated by reminding herself that every day, she is closer and closer to graduation.
According to Alexander, LeBlanc has been an Interact officer for several years, and it has been a joy to watch her grow in her leadership skills.
“She has a heart for others and she is always willing to step up and serve,” Alexander said. “She lives out her faith and lets it guide her, which is inspiring to see in a teenager. She has been a great addition to our board of officers all while being academically strong and participating in LCM Cheer.”
Ford said LeBlanc is a natural leader who demonstrates kindness, empathy, and genuine care for others.
“She is consistently inclusive and attentive to the needs of those around her,” Ford said. “Hannah goes above and beyond to ensure tasks are completely accurately and does not stop until the job is done well. Hannah is a bright light who positively impacts everyone around her.”
