Junior Arden Robison was nominated for Bear of the Week by nurse and Interact sponsor, Jeannie Alexander.
Robison is involved in varsity cheer, Interact, HOSA, Key Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, and Extemp Speaking. She is also the junior class president. Outside of school, she is involved in church, volunteer work, tutoring younger kids, and going to the gym.
Robison said her biggest role model is her Nana, Toni Terry.
“She lives out her values through her actions every day,” Robison said. “She dedicates her life to helping others, showing me the importance of compassion, sacrifice, and love. She constantly pushes me as a person, leader, and Christian to grow, lead with purpose, and live out my values.”
Some of her hobbies include traveling, baking, spending time with her family, and trying new things. In the future, she wants to go to medical school, complete residency, pass the ABA, and become an anesthesiologist.
Robison considers her greatest accomplishment is making straight As throughout school, while maintaining a 4.0 in her dual enrolled classes. Robison said her favorite class this year is her Biology class.
“I feel like I’ve learned so much and I can’t wait to continue learning more,” Robison said.
Advice Robison would give to her younger self is to not stress. This year, she loves all the positivity and excitement that LCM offers.
“The teachers, staff, and custodians always have a lending ear and a helping hand,” Robison said.
Robison said the Lord keeps her going on a daily basis.
“Every day I strive harder to be more and more like Him and to shine his bright light off me,” Robison said.
According to Interact sponsor Jeannie Alexander, Robison is a well-rounded student that is academically strong while being involved in the daily life on campus through extracurriculars and organizations.
“What stands out to me most is how genuinely kind Arden is to others, whether it is another student or adults,” Alexander said. “She lights up every room she is in and looks for ways to improve the lives of others. Our campus is a better place with her here.”
According to Carlie Ford, Robison is the kindest student to everyone.
“She makes sure that everyone is included, seen, heard, and accepted,” Ford said. “These are all actions that are portrayed in everything she does.”
