Sophomore Jada Jones was nominated for Bear of the Week by her geometry teacher, Brianna Theal.

Sophomore Jada Jones was nominated for Bear of the Week by her geometry teacher, Brianna Theal. Jones is involved in HOSA and cheer. Outside of school, she is in regular dance and competitive dance.

Jones said her biggest role model is her mother.

“She has taught me how to stay strong when things get hard,” Jones said. “She has also made me realize that life goes on, but not to rush it.”

Some of Jones’ hobbies include hanging out with the ones she loves the most. Her goals for the future are to live through God. While she may not be sure about what some of her biggest accomplishments are, she said she will mark being named as Bear of the Week as one.

Jones’ favorite class this year is history because he understands everything and has fun doing it. If Jones could give her younger self advice, it would be, “You don’t need a lot of friends to feel okay; less is more.” Her favorite part of LCM is talking to other students in her classes.

Jones said she is motivated by her grades and end-of-the-year awards, as well as earning exemptions.

Theal said Jones is kind helpful to all students.

“She always makes sure that everyone feels included and is the definition of a star student,” Theal said. “Jada is always a joy to have in class.”
