Junior Kessler Briggs is a friendly and enthusiastic student. In school, he is a player on the varsity football team. Outside of school, he plays sports, goes shooting, is on his church’s worship team, and is a leader in his church.
Briggs’ biggest role model is his dad because he said he sets a great example for him. He considers his greatest accomplishment to be giving his life to Christ. His hobbies are sports, hunting, fishing, riding, singing, and working out. His goals for the future are to become successful and set a good example for the youth.
This school year, Briggs’ favorite class is Spanish 2, because he enjoys learning a new language. Some advice he would give to his younger self would be, “Stay involved and don’t pay attention to negative people.”
Briggs’ favorite part about LCM is that the students and teachers stay positive and that the school spirit is great. He said that what keeps him going every day is knowing that he is blessed with the opportunity to make someone else’s day better.
“I chose Kessler Briggs to be Bear of the Week because he is consistently showing kindness to others in both words and actions,” financial math teacher Allie Hanson said. “He is a hard-working individual who puts great effort into everything he does, always striving to do his best. His love for Jesus is evident in the way he treats others with compassion and respect. He is bold in his faith, never afraid to stand up for what he believes in. Kessler is a shining example of character and integrity, making him truly deserving of this recognition.”
