Junior Zachary Fisher is involved in many activities, including varsity tennis, debate, Future Business Leaders of America, Bear Believers, and the pickleball club. Outside of school, he is involved in his church’s youth.
Fisher’s biggest role model is Jesus Christ because He lived a perfect life and died for him. According to Fisher, there is no better role model than the only perfect man.
Some of Fisher’s favorite hobbies are reading, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and learning the guitar.
According to Fisher, he wants to go to Texas A&M and eventually become a lawyer.
Fisher considers his greatest accomplishment to be averaging all A’s throughout high school so far.
According to Fisher, his favorite class this year is debate because it’s been a new experience and he’s learned a lot.
Some advice that Fisher would give to his younger self would be that the problems you have right now do not mean life or death, and you won’t even remember them in the future; enjoy the good things and live in the moment.
Fisher’s favorite part about going to LCM is that no matter your interests or personality, there is always a group of people or club here that matches you. According to Fisher, his family and friends are what keeps him going on a daily basis.
Fisher’s tennis coach, Rebekah Newell, said he is an amazing student and athlete.
“He personifies what it means to be a Battlin’ Bear,” Newell said. “Zach is a respectful, hard-working student who demonstrates integrity and excellence in everything he does.”
