Junior Angelina Ragusa is a member of the cheerleading squad. Outside of school, she is involved as a dancer at Encore Dance Arts.
Ragusa said her biggest role model is her granny because of how much of a beautiful person she is inside and out. Her goals for the future are to raise a family and have a job that she truly enjoys. Her greatest accomplishment is getting All-American every year she has tried out.
Some advice she would give to her younger self is, “It is okay if other people judge you, just be yourself and be happy.” Her favorite part of attending LCM is the school spirit and her love for all of the teachers.
Ragusa’s favorite class this year is Spanish because she is learning a new language. Ragusa said what motivates her on a daily basis is her parents and everything they do for her to come to this amazing school.
According to her principles of human services teacher Jennifer Seago, Ragusa has a sweet kind heart for all of her classmates.
“She radiates positivity in my classroom, and it is contagious,” Seago said. “I have the pleasure of having her in two of my classes this year and she is a joy. When I think of Gina, I think of a positive leader, great friend, and a great role model for younger girls.”

What a well deserving light to shine on our girl Gina. She’s kind, gentle and intuitive. She’s attentive to people and how they feel – truly empathetic in every way. You can easily see how genuine she is the moment you meet her. I hope she comes to realize what an impact she’s made in our lives!
