Senior Jonathan Ly is a member of the cross country team. Outside of school, some of his hobbies are fishing and playing video games.
Ly’s biggest role model is his grandpa because he is selfless. His goal for the future is to become an accomplished accountant. His greatest accomplishment is getting accepted into Stephen F. Austin State University.
Some advice he would give his younger self is, “Just because it is a rainy day doesn’t mean the sun won’t shine tomorrow.” His favorite part of attending LCM is the supportive teachers and staff.
His favorite class this year is business management with Kara Lacouture because of the joy that she brings to the classroom. Ly said that what motivates him on a daily basis is the belief that he will one day make a difference.
According to Lacouture, Ly is a dedicated and thoughtful student who consistently goes above and beyond in both his academics and interactions with peers.
“His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others make him truly deserving of Bear of the Week,” Lacouture said.
