Senior Ryan Garcia is involved in many extracurricular activities. He is involved in band, powerlifting, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, Garcia volunteers and tutors.
According to Garcia, his biggest role model is his father because throughout Garcia’s life his father has been a hard worker, constantly pushing him to be the best he can.
Some of Garcia’s hobbies are socializing with new people and volunteering. Garcia’s goal for the future is to have a successful career where he can make lots of money.
According to Garcia, his greatest accomplishment is when he learned the Euphonium and to participate in the wind ensemble. His favorite class this year is band because his friends convinced him to join last year which ended up being the best decision he has ever made.
Some advice Garcia would give to his younger self would be to learn calculus before his senior year. Garcia’s favorite part about going to LCM is getting to see his friends every day.
Garcia is motivated by knowing that if he keeps striving for his goals daily, he will eventually be able to live comfortably.
According to Elizabeth Leboeuf, Garcia is a great student.
“He works really hard and never gives up,” Leboeuf said. “He also has a really great sense of humor and is really funny.”
