Senior Jeffrey Womack was nominated for Bear of the Week by culinary teacher Rochelle Briggs. Womack plays varsity soccer and works when he’s not at school.
Womack said he looks up to his stepdad the most as his biggest role model.
“He puts us first and gave me a good mindset,” Womack said.
Womack enjoys gaming, playing soccer, running, and staying busy. His goal for the future is to own multiple businesses and to grow his firework business.
His favorite classes this year is soccer because he is working to get better.
“There’s no better coach to do it,” Womack said about head coach Christopher Bradford.
Womack’s advice to his younger self would be to keep to your dreams and don’t let people with no goals ruin your mindset. His favorite part about going to LCM is playing soccer under the lights. God, his family, and his folks keep him going on a daily basis.
Briggs, who nominated Womack, said she has had him in class for three years.
“In those three years, Jeffrey has shown determination to get his work done and on time,” Briggs said. “He shows up for his internship with proper attire and a willingness to work. He makes me proud.”
