LCM students in the medical assistant class recently toured Lamar Institute of Technology and Lamar University.
“We went to see all the medical programs LIT and also had the opportunity to go and tour and look around at all Lamar has to offer,” senior Tor’Shanti McDaniel said.
Even though LIT is a smaller campus, they still have many different medical and other programs for everyone.
“My favorite part of the trip was how beautiful the campus is and learning about the different programs that LIT has to offer,” McDaniel said.
While touring and learning about all the programs, this trip helped many seniors with what they want to pursue in college.
“This trip helped me solidify the fact that I still want to pursue the medical field,” McDaniel said.
