After finishing the regular district season as the runner-up in District 20-4A, the Lady Bear Softball team will battle the Crosby Lady Cougars this Friday night in the first round of playoffs. The teams will play a “best of three” series, with play starting on Friday and running through possibly Monday. The Lady Bears finished the regular season with a 24-6 record and went 7-0 in the second half of district play. The Lady Cougars placed third in District 19-4A. All games will take place at Port Arthur Memorial High School and the game Friday night will start at 7 p.m.
