The fine arts department will host its second annual Fine Arts Night this Friday night in the auditorium. Food trucks will arrive at 5 p.m. and performances will begin at 6 p.m.
Student tickets will be $5, adult tickets will be $10, and there will be a family package available of 4 tickets for $20.
The Honey Bears will perform first in the auditorium and will show off three competition routines: their rock and roll routine, their Elvis routine, and their jazz routine.
The choir will go second with the pop choir singing “Home” by Philip Philips, followed by the chamber choir performing their contest pieces, “The Night Shall Be Filled with Music” by Laura Farnell and “Medieval Gloria.”
The Battin’ Bear Band will perform third with three ensemble and three solo pieces. The ensemble pieces consist of “Bongito” by Brian Slawson, “Me Tarzan” by Chris Crockarell, and “Three Banditos” by Brian Slawson. The soloists performing are Caleb Hamilton with “Motion” by Lynn Glassock, Nathan Sherwin with “Rain Dance” by Alice Gomez, and “Funky Fat” by Bay Reynolds.
The Bear Stage Players will close out the night with their performance of “Steel Magnolias.”
