Junior Landon Richards plays on the Varsity Bear Baseball team. He is also a part of HOSA, Grizzly Crew, and FBCO. Some of his favorite hobbies are baseball, working out, and golfing.
One of Richards’ goals for the future is to play Division 1 college baseball. His biggest inspiration is Nolan Ryan because he wants to be a great pitcher like him.
HIs favorite quote is, “Set your goals high, and don’t stop ’til you get there,” by Bo Jackson. According to Richards, “God is good.”
He loves University of Houston basketball and his favorite class this year is Principals of Therapeutic Healthcare with Mrs. Parsons.
“She’s good at teaching and making me focus,” he said.
One of Richards’ accomplishments he is most proud of is hitting 89 off the mound and getting “college baseball looks.”
According to Parsons, his health science teacher, Richards has truly stepped up this year, becoming a leader within HOSA and across the school.
“He always makes class interesting and fun,” she said.
