Lutcher Theatre to Show “ImaginOcean”
John Tartaglia’s “ImaginOcean” will be shown at the Lutcher Theatre this Thursday, April 2 at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
The show is one-of-a-kind live black-light puppet show about a magical undersea adventure. The main characters, Tank, Bubbles and Dorsel, are three best friends who just happen to be fish, and they’re about to set out on a remarkable journey of discovery. As they swim off in search of clues, they’ll sing, they’ll dance, and they’ll make new friends, including everyone in the audience.
“We have a great turnout for these shows, from homeschool groups to school field trips,” Lutcher Theatre employee Wendy Elliott said. “Everyone seems to be very excited for the show.”
The show even includes music, ranging from swing to R&B to Big Band. John Tartaglia’s “ImaginOcean” is a fun and “keep you on your feet” kind of show. The show is reccomended for ages Pre-K through grade 2 and focuses on science, cooperation and teamwork, emotional and social development, friendship, self expression, communication, and theater.
“This will be one you won’t want to miss,” Elliott said.
