Senior Elias Jureidini is on the varsity soccer team, as well as a member of the National Honors Society. Jureidini also plays and coaches rec soccer.
According to Jureidini, his father is his biggest role model because he sees him as an amazing person and has taught him everything he knows.
Jureidini has a passion for band and has many accomplishments such as making it to the area round of ATSSB as well as going to state for UIL solo and ensemble.
For Jureidini, his main goal is to attend college to major in statistics so he can eventually use it to obtain a job in data science.
Out of all the things Jureidini loves about LCM, being a part of the band and getting to represent his school is most important to him.
Jureidini’s motivation to keep going on a daily basis is his own competitive drive to be the best at whatever he does.
If Jureidini could give any advice to his younger self, he would say life isn’t going to get any easier as time goes on, so enjoy what you have now.
According to English 4 dual enrolled teacher, Gwendolyn Whitehead, Jureidini is an extremely dedicated student.
“He is conscientious about meeting deadlines and performing to the best of his ability, whether he is in the classroom, in band, or on the soccer field,” Whitehead said. “However, the quality that really makes EJ Bear of the Week is his willingness to always help other students who seek him out.”
