Senior Jaylon Broussard is on the varsity football team and is a member of National Honor Society. He also works a full-time job at Blue Beacon in Orange.
Broussard said his biggest role model is Coach Coats because he pushes everyone on the team to be the best. Some of Broussard’s hobbies are hunting and fishing. Out of all of his accomplishments, he said his greatest one is when he bought his dream truck at the age of 17.
Broussard’s favorite class this year is welding because that’s what he wants to do when he graduates high school. Broussard’s favorite part about going to LCM is the opportunity to play football. He would not want to play anywhere else; he loves his team and he would not trade it for the world.
According to his anatomy and physiology teacher Rebecca Prevost, Broussard is always comes to class ready to take on whatever task the students are faced with that day.
“He is positive and encourages others to participate in discussions,” Prevost said. “He has a true ‘bear’ character in that he is trustworthy, humble, and loyal. He is an excellent addition to class.”
