UIL Academics Takes Second Place at District

The UIL Academic Team traveled to Livingston on March 22 to compete in the District meet and finished in second place as a team. Several individuals and teams placed, including the following:

Lawson Cox – 5th place in Calculator Applications

Tiffany Vu – 6th place in Spelling and Vocabulary

Aaron Rose – 1st place in Social Studies

Shri Murthy – 6th place in Science

Justice Peveto – 6th place in Ready Writing

Jacob Richard – 1st place in Prose Interpretation

Haley Wright – 2nd place in Prose Interpretation

Tyler Regan – 3rd in Prose Interpretation

Alex Borel – 1st place in Poetry Interpretation

Triston Stringer – 2nd place in Poetry Interpretation

Jace Bagwell – 2nd place in Persuasive Speaking

Clint Jordan – 1st place in Number Sense

Lawson Cox – 2nd place in Number Sense
