On Feb. 18, there was a scholarship meeting held to let the seniors know what scholarships were available to them. Some tips and reminders for completing your Scholarship Applications are:

• Type or print neatly
• Try to avoid scratch-outs (use white-out if an error is made)
• Answer every question and provide all requested supporting documents
• Proofread
• Request transcripts  in the Counselor’s Office(allow two days for pickup)
• Request letters of recommendation (try to avoid asking counselors for letters)
• Make essays generic so that you can save, edit and use again
• Attach transcript, resume of involvement/activities, personal essay of goals
