Sophomore Alantheon Winn plays varsity basketball and also played football this past season. He said he looks up to Kobe Bryant, who has been influential to him when it comes to basketball.

He said he aims to be a successful person and a role model to others. His favorite quote is, “Everything negative – pressure, challenges – is all an opportunity for me to rise.” In the future, he wants to be successful in basketball and in his free time, most of his time is spent on the court.

His family and basketball are the most important aspects of his life.

“Alantheon is a special kid,” head basketball coach Brad Jeffcoat said. “He is respectful, dependable, makes excellent grades, and is unbelievably talented. He is fun to be around and works hard every day, and his potential is through the roof!”
