Sophomore Jessica Ridout loves performing with the Bear Stage Players.

Sophomore Jessica Ridout is involved in theatre and recently wrapped up her role as Logainne SchwartzandGrubenierre in LCM’s production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” She also enjoys attending church retreats outside of school.

She said she looks up to her parents, as well as her theatre teacher because of her work ethic and the fact that she puts so much love into the theatre program.

Ridout said she aims to be somebody who is a friend to everyone.

“I always try to be someone I’m proud of,” she said.

Her goals for the future are to get into a good theatre program.

She, like many others in our program, is a problem-solver, positive, and driven to succeed.

“Theatre is something that gives me a lot of happiness and I’d like to pursue it, at least for a while,” she said.

In her free time, Ridout loves to read, make jewelry, play with her dogs, and drink boba tea. Her favorite quote is, “Never forget how wildly capable you are.”

Ridout said she loves her siblings more than anything. She also loves going to summer camp, performing in theatre, and going on long family road trips.

According to her theatre director, Ashley Dennison, Ridout is a true leader in the program and a great student.

“She, like many others in our program, is a problem-solver, positive, and driven to succeed,” Dennison said.
