Shaleigh Hebert, Writer

Freshman Brooklyn Leonard is an active member of the Battlin’ Bear Band, Interact Club, Student Council, and she also plays soccer. In her free time, she enjoys practicing soccer or watching Netflix. Three things Leonard treasures most are her loved ones, band, and soccer.

In a decade, Leonard pictures herself attending college to be a teacher. Something most people do not know about her is that one day she wants to be a marine. If she fulfills this dream, she wants to be in the top of her class, and for this reason she looks up to Noah Hammer. One hidden skill Leonard has is that she is ambidextrous.

If Brooklyn could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to Halong Bay because she would enjoy swimming in the blue water and admiring the limestone islands. Her favorite movie is “The Sandlot” and favorite TV shows are “The Office” and “Stranger Things.” Her best-loved books are a collection of novels called “A Series of Unfortunate Events.” Her favorite quote is, “Sometimes I’ll start a sentence and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way,” by Michael Scott.
