LCM’s Homecoming is sure to be “Incredible.”

Shaleigh Hebert, Writer

This year’s Incredible themed Homecoming game will be held on Friday, Sept. 21. All students will be released from school at 10:45 a.m., those participating in the parade will line up at the district’s administration building at 1 p.m., and the parade will begin at 2 p.m.

The parade route will be 1.2 miles, starting at LCJH and head North on Meeks/FM 1130, turn East on Bear Path and wrap up at around 3 p.m. in the high school parking lot.

Before the game begins, the reigning queen, Lani Daniels, will return to crown this year’s king and queen at 6:30 p.m. in Battlin’ Bear Stadium on the home side of the track.

Daniels said her perspective on coming back to LCM a year later has changed because she had to grow up a lot in a year.

“So much changed since homecoming last year that reality really sets in when you come back and see people you were once walking down the hall with are pretty much strangers now,” Daniels said. “My perspective is completely different because life moves faster than I realized as a high school student, but college has been the best thing for me.”
