Sydney Bowman, Writer

Seong Kim, also known as Sean, is a freshman from South Korea who has lived in the United States for only two years, but quickly made his home in Orange. He is involved in band, Key Club and Quiz Bowl and is full of school spirit. His favorite color is green because it’s one of the school colors.

Kim said he looks up to seniors that can answer his questions and teach him new things. Once he moves on from school, he wants to be an engineer because his dad is also an engineer and he gets to move to different places for work. Kim aspires to travel to different parts of the world – especially France because he loves their foods, cities, and landmarks.

When Kim isn’t busy hanging out with his friends, he practices studying English. He prioritizes his friends because they treat him well and make him laugh. According to Kim, the most meaningful aspect of his life is learning something new, no matter how big or small.
