Staff writer shares favorite foods

As we all know, food is one of the best things on Earth. Everyone is bound to have a favorite food to eat, as do I. Although I’m somewhat of an adventurous eater, I always find myself eating the same things.

First off, I really enjoy Tex-Mex. It’s one of my top favorites and I really don’t see myself ever getting tired of it. One place that’s close to my house and super delicious is Two Amigos. I always get their chicken fajita street tacos. They are heaven on a plate. Also, tortilla chips and salsa will always be a go-to when you don’t know what to eat.

Another place I’m obsessed with is Pei Wei. Oh my gosh, they have some of the best chicken lo mein you’ll ever eat. I would recommend eating it if you’re a noodle person. If you are a rice person then it might not be the best choice. Anyways, the lo mein and lettuce wraps at Pei Wei are a ten out of ten.

Chicken sandwiches are pretty nice too. If I’m out somewhere such as Cheddar’s or Outback Steakhouse, I’ll order a grilled chicken sandwich which is filling, healthy, and all around delicious. You can’t go wrong eating at Chick-fil-A either. They have a really tasty spicy chicken sandwich.

Recently, I’ve been really into pasta. It’s great because you can have fun with what type of pasta noodle you want, and the type of sauce as well. I don’t know about other people, but the shapes of pasta make me want to eat it even more. Which is weird, I know. Tomato sauce, vodka sauce, and even alfredo are some of my favorite sauces to have with some noodles.

Lastly, fruit is never a dissapointment for me. I have loved fruit since I was little. They make the perfect healthy alternative snacks to chips. It’s one of the few foods that is actually healthy and still has a decent taste. Fruit also makes the most refreshing smoothies, ah writing this makes me want one.

These are just some of the many foods I’m completely in love with. Food is just a really large part of my life, as it obviously is for everyone. I mean you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t eat food.
