Freshman Emily Day has a secret passion for collecting snow globes.

Grace Tally, Writer

Emily Day is a freshman with a love for her friends, sleep, and reading. She is an active member of band, Student Council, Key Club, and her local youth group. The best part of her day is usually laughing with her friends and letting them know they are appreciated and loved.

Something other people may not know about Day is that she collects snow globes and she has always wanted to go skydiving.

In ten years, she sees herself “living it up in college with straight teeth and clear skin.” As for right now, others would describe her as being outspoken, energetic, a good friend, caring, and friendly. Three things she cannot live without are God, her family, and her friends. When she is not at school, she can be found hanging out with her grandma or her youth group friends.

Day tries to live by the quote, “Their willingness to believe was greater than their determination to dismiss.”
