New receptionist takes over front desk

Stacy Roy becomes new receptionist at LCM.

LCE transferee Stacy Roy joins the LCM as the High School Receptionist. In order to welcome her to the campus and allow students and faculty to get to know her, the Bear Facts staff asked her a few questions.
Q: What brought you to LCM?
A: I transferred here from LCE.
Q: How long have you been working in this field? 
A: I have been with the LCM school district for over 8 years.
Q: Where did you work before coming here?
A: Little Cypress Elementary
Q: What all do you do during the work day?
A: Answer phones, sign students in and out, and many other small jobs through out the day
Q: How did you find out about this job?
A: Through the school website
Q: What do you like most about working here?
A: I really like learning new things. The high school campus is very different from the elementary.
Q: What are some of the struggles you deal with on a daily basis?
A: Learning each of my coworkers’ and each students’ name
Q: What got you into this field?
A: I love working with people.
Q: Did you plan on being in this career? If not where did you see yourself working?
A: When I was young I wanted to be a teacher, but found I loved doing paperwork and this became a good fit.
Q: What are goals for this year?
A: To improve my knowledge of the LCMHS campus
Q: Are you involved in anything outside of work?
A: Yes, my husband and I are involved in LCMYSA.  It is the youth football and cheer organization for LCM.
