Dallas Cowboy Fan Speaks Out About Playoff Game
On this past Sunday afternoon, one of the most popular teams in all the National Football League, the Dallas Cowboys, played against the decent Green Bay Packers.
Everyone that is a fan of football expected the Cowboys to go all the way to the Super Bowl, which is like the championship of the NFL.
The game was close all the way till the last five minutes, when Dallas, who only needed one touchdown to gain the lead, threw an amazing pass all the way down the field, and the receiver caught it and fell just before the line.
Everyone was eager to find out if the catch was legal.
The referee returned, and it had been decided that it was an incomplete pass. The Packers had the ball from that point on and finished the game.
Every Cowboys fan, including myself, was outraged by the fact that they considered that spectacular catch an incomplete pass, but deep down, we knew the season was too good to be true.
The Cowboys had shut down the previous Super Champions in the middle of the season, and had a great record of 12 wins and 4 losses, taking the NFC East.
With that record and them being undefeated on the road, all fans of the Cowboys knew they were going to choke eventually.
They had earned a spot in the playoffs and were slowly moving up to the Super Bowl, but the penalties stopped them two games away from the championship.
Fans will just have to wait till next season to see if the Cowboys can take the championship title.
