LCM Gears up for Homecoming Week
The cold fronts are coming through more often and the leaves are starting to change, and along with these changes is perhaps one of the most exciting times at LCM – Homecoming Week.
The students and faculty will be showing their spirit by dressing up all week in anticipation for the game against Bridge City next Friday night. On Monday, students are encouraged to dress up as an animal for “Green, Gold and Bears, Oh My!” Day. On Tuesday, students will not only show their Bear pride, but will also show pride in their country for “There’s No Place Like Home” Day (wear red, white and blue). On Wednesday, students will bring out their inner nerd, big glasses and suspenders for “Birds are Nerds” Day. Thursday is Green, Gold, Young and Old Day, where the underclassmen should dress like babies and upperclassmen are encouraged to dress like elderly people. Friday, as always, will be Green and Gold Spirit Day.
There will also be a homecoming bonfire at 7 p.m. on Monday night at O-Ranch that all students are encouraged to attend.
