BYOT Classes Offered
For those students who would like to bring their electronic devices to school, LCM has a program that allows them to do so. Such devices include iPads, iPods, laptops and other Internet-enabled devices.
The Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) program allows students to use such technological tools at school to enhance the learning experience, but may only use them when permitted by a teacher. Before students may begin using their devices, they must fill out a request form to attend the mandatory education session, in which they review the rules and regulations of the program.
Once a student is approved and attends the education session, he or she receives a label to put on his or her student ID signifying that the student has been approved to use their own technology to connect to the district Internet. If a student loses his or her label, a request for a new label must be made. Dates for upcoming classes have been posted on the high school website.
