Junior Peyton Elliott does quite a bit both in and outside of school. She is a varsity cheerleader, president of Interact, an active member of Bear Believers, and a National Honor Society member. Outside of school, she is involved in North Orange Baptist Church and its worship team. She also works at Chick-fil-A and volunteers around the community.
Elliott’s biggest role model in her life is her big sister Brooklyn because she helped her find her relationship with God, and she couldn’t be more grateful. Brooklyn is her best friend and taught her how to be the best version of herself.
According to Elliott, some of her hobbies are hanging out with her family and friends, reading her Bible, and watching movies. She also really loves cleaning.
Elliott plans to attend SFA, and when she’s older she plans to travel around the world and spread the Gospel.
Elliott said her greatest accomplishment is learning to believe in herself and excelling in places that she never thought that she would.
According to Elliott, her favorite class this year is English because the teacher is super sweet and cares about each and every student.
Some advice that Elliott would give to her younger self would be to be your authentic self and to not worry so much. Elliot’s favorite part about going to LCM is meeting all of her best friends.
“God is my motivation,” she said. “I try to live every day for Him and to show His love to others.”
According to Interact sponsor Jeannie Alexander, Elliott is an absolute joy to be around and brings so much light to anything she is a part of.
“She serves others so well through her leadership role as the president of the Interact Club,” Alexander said. “She is always looking for ways to reach out and do for others. She’s a breath of fresh air and such an example of what we wish for in an LCM student leader.”
