Q: How would other people describe your high school self?
A: I would say artistic and kind.
Q: Was there a career you wanted to pursue before teaching?
A: I had an idea it would be something in art; however, I did want to be a forensic scientist.
Q: Tell us about how you got into teaching.
A: My high school art teacher inspired me. She is the one who taught me a lot about art and to appreciate it. I want to do that for my students.
Q: What do you do outside of school for fun?
A: I like to read, create artwork, hangout with my fiancé, family, friends and my dogs.
Q: When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?
A: If they do not know me at all, they are surprised to know I can draw or that I will talk a lot.
Q: What is something you know a weird amount about that’s not related to something you teach?
A: Dog nutrition
Q: Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
A: Graduating college summa cum laude
Q: Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
A: My grandmother because she raised me. She is the absolute sweetest and is always there for me.
Q: What advice would you give to your younger self?
A: It will all work out. God’s plan is greater.
Q: What do you hope to be remembered for?
A: To have made a difference in the world, especially in my student’s lives.
Q: What’s on your bucket list? What aspirations do you have for the future?
A: I want to travel to Germany and Ireland. In the future, I would like to go back to school to get my masters.
