Junior McKenziegh Buckley is involved in culinary, yearbook, and church. She goes to church at Pinehurst Pentecostal Church, and she works at Market Basket. Some of her favorite hobbies are singing and studying the Bible.
Buckley’s goals for the future are to fulfill what God has planned for her and to have a family. Her biggest inspiration is her pastor’s wife because she encourages her to not get discouraged and to keep her faith and to keep her head held high.
Her favorite quote is, “When guests visit our church, they already heard we’re CRAZY. We ought to give them what they’re expecting. Warship like you’ve lost your mind!” Someone who motivates her is her dad because he motivates her to do better in many different things.
Something that people might know about her is that she is a nice person and she’s very outgoing. Her favorite class this year is culinary because everyone in the class is comfortable enough to be themselves, thanks to her teacher Rochelle Briggs, who she said makes that class a safe place.
A few accomplishments Buckley is proud of are that she has built a prayer life with God and she’s reading the Bible a lot more than what she used to.
According to Briggs, Buckley is a teacher’s dream student.
“She is a hard worker, puts effort into all that she does and is helpful in class,” Briggs said. “She is also turning into quite the culinary student. I look forward to having her in my Advanced Culinary class next year.”
