Sophomore Gracie Day is a member of the Lady Bear Basketball team.
Sophomore Gracie Day is a member of the junior varsity Lady Bear Basketball team, and some of her favorite hobbies are math and basketball.
Her goals for the future are to make all As, and her biggest inspiration is her family.
“They make me have good grades,” she said.
Day said she enjoys athletics the most out of all her classes because it’s fun.
“Gracie is the definition of ‘taking the initiative,'” health science teacher Tara Parsons said. “Her basketball season recently started which includes missing a lot of school for tournaments. Gracie has done an awesome job of balancing her schoolwork and extracurricular activities. In addition to all this, she is always polite, well-mannered, and hard working.”
