Freshman Allie Broussard is involved in Interact, Student Council, Bear Believers, and Lady Bear Soccer. Outside of school, she is also part of club soccer and participates in the youth group at her church. Some of her favorite hobbies include reading, watching sports games, swimming, going to the lake, and playing soccer. Her goals for the future consists of playing soccer in college and to going to school at Texas A&M. Her biggest inspiration is Jesus.
“If I didn’t have Jesus and my faith, I wouldn’t be the person I am today,” Broussard said.
Her biggest motivation is her parents. She strives to make them proud and to succeed in life. Her favorite class this year is agriculture. She enjoys learning about cattle and farms. Her best accomplishments include winning Offensive MVP in soccer and Offensive MVP in basketball. One of the things some may not know about her is that she is legally blind in her right eye.
Her favorite quote is, “I can do all things through him who gives me strength,” (Philippians 4:13)
She would like to add that she loves the soccer team Manchester City. According to Broussard, they are the best. She also loves Texas A&M.
“Allie is an intelligent and kind young woman,” English I teacher Taylor Hurst said. “She always shows up to class with a smile and works hard to submit her best effort on every assignment.”
