Junior Blake Huckaby spends his days doing a variety of different activities, whether they be within school or off campus. From the building trades program to his YouTube channel, Huckaby is not only a well-rounded student, but a well-rounded teenager as well.

Some of Huckaby’s hobbies include playing both video games and card games, building Legos, and making YouTube videos for his channel, named MRBLAK3. With this channel, he accomplished one of his personal proudest achievements: hitting over 200 subscribers.

One of Huckaby’s goals for the future is to be successful in many different aspects. He also attributes his motivation to his friends. and alongside motivating him, seeing them also makes computer science his favorite class of the day.

“Blake has really come a long way since joining our building trades program as a freshman,” building trades teacher Matthew Huckaby said. “He has always been a great help and is eager to be a part of whatever we are doing. This semester he really impressed me with his work ethic and perseverance in completing his OSHA 30 Safety Certification. Not only did he finish, but was the first student in the program to do so. He is a great kid who is capable of anything he sets his mind to.”
