Junior Sofia Harrison is a part of several activities both outside and inside of school. She is involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, and works at Horizons. Some of her favorite hobbies are cheer, cooking, and going to the lake. Her goals for the future include going to Texas A&M and medical school to become a dermatologist.

According to Harrison, she looks up to her dad and cheer coaches.

“My dad is my biggest inspiration because he pushes me to never quit,” Harrison said.

Harrison’s favorite quote is “live for today and let tomorrow come later.” Her favorite class to take at LCM has been fashion because she enjoys making cute items. She is proud that she makes all A’s and is in the top ten percent of her class. Something that people may not know about her is that she has the best dance moves.

According to Harrison’s AP English III teacher and Interact sponsor Jill Shugart, she fits the role of an involved, responsible high school student.

“She always comes to class with a smile on her face willing to take on whatever I throw at her without complaint. It has been a joy to teach her and to work with her in Interact.”

Interact sponsor and LCMHS nurse Jeannie Alexander said Harrison is a wonderful asset as an Interact officer.

“She brings enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and an infectious energy to everything she does,” Alexander said. “It has been nothing short of a joy to serve alongside her the last two years.”
