Bear of the Week: Madison Ferree

Sophomore Madison Ferree is a member of the junior varsity girls soccer team, and she enjoys reading in her free time. Her biggest inspiration is her Mawmaw because she is the hardest working woman she knows.

In the future, she would like to continue to make good grades and get into a good college. She is motivated to do well by her brother Ethan because he is working for what he wants in college.

Ferree’s favorite class is English II because she loves her English teacher, and her biggest accomplishment this year has been passing her English TSI test.

“Madison is such a bright light in my 2nd period English class,” teacher Lindsey Fruge said. “She is always so insightful to what we are reading in class, and she works hard at everything she does. Madison is the type of student who comes to school every day and works hard at every single thing she does. She is always respectful, positive, and engaged. She is also kind to her classmates and teachers, and that alone says a lot about who she is. Madison deserves to be recognized for working hard in the classroom and just being an all-around good person.”
