The LCM Athletic Booster Club Varsity Sports Banquet will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 21 in The Grove. All varsity athletes will be provided five pounds of crawfish, while family members will pay $20 per tray. Each sport and its team members will be recognized. Coaches of each team will also honor the seniors.

Other groups that will be recognized besides all sports are the Honey Bears, Grizzly Crew, and cheerleaders. Awards for Male and Female Athlete of the Year will also be given out, as well as several Booster Club scholarships.

While this is the first annual athletic crawfish boil, it is something that may be continued in the future.

“This is going to be a gathering of our Bear family to honor the unbelievably successful athletic year we had,” Peevey said.
