On Saturday Feb. 8, 80 band students went to Solo and Ensemble in Lumberton. 33 of those students made superior on their solos while four instrumentalists qualified for State. Those students are Alex Borel, Ryan Shehane, Rebecca Brown, and Bridgett Bonneaux.

 All of the Ensembles that competed, received ones in competition. The Medium Ensemble groups were: Brass Choir, Woodwind Choir, Percussion Ensemble 1, Percussion Ensemble 2 and Jazz band. The Small Ensemble group was a Trombone Quartet.
