Junior Dawson Lampman is the Battlin’ Bear Baseball team manager and works part-time at The Hut. He also attends Turning Point Church.

Lampman said he looks up to his Pawpaw because he has always been an inspiration to him. He said he aims to be a happy person.

His favorite quote is, “Work smarter, not harder.” He wants to one day find a job that he enjoys after high school.

Lampman said he enjoys watching scary movies and HGTV. In his free time, he likes to watch YouTube and TikTok and hang out with his family. The most important things in his life are God and his family. He also likes to learn about cars. His favorite class this year is Ag Mechanics.

“Mr. Davis is a fun teacher and I’ve learned a lot from him,” Lampman said.

According to Lampman’s English teacher, Stacy Haley, he is a pleasure to have in class.

“Dawson is a great kid,” Haley said. “He gives you 100 percent in class, and he is always polite and respectful. He always has a smile on his face. He’s just an overall great guy.”
