March Madness Game to Reward Perfect Attendance
Coming to school every day has its rewards; for LCM students who have perfect attendance for the Fourth Six Weeks, an entertaining treat awaits. On March 3, such students will get to attend a March Madness basketball game between students and teachers. The game will be held during third period and students must have an “NBA Ticket” to earn entrance. These tickets will replace the Golden Ticket that is typically given every six weeks.
History teacher Austin Farias is one of the faculty members who will be playing in the game and he plans on practicing extensively to prepare for the game.
“Students can look forward to seeing their teachers in pain and misery due to being out of shape,” Farias said. “I am extremely excited to be able to talk smack to some of the same students I have taught or coached.”
