Journalism Team Takes Home Medals at HF UIL Meet
Jeffrey Holland, Camden Leleux and Izzy Echartea placed in Journalism at the UIL meet this past weekend.
The UIL Journalism team competed at the Hampshire-Fannett practice meet on Jan. 10, with three students receiving medals. Junior Izzy Echartea placed first in Headline Writing, while junior Camden Leleux placed fifth in the same event. Sophomore Jeffrey Holland placed fourth in News Writing. The team will next compete at the Nederland meet on Jan. 25.
