Freshman Grace Huckaby is a member of the Battlin’ Bear Band and also enjoys playing basketball. In the future, she plans to be a mechanical engineer. She enjoys reading mythical and science fiction books books in her free time, and Imagine Dragons is her favorite band.

The best advice she has been given is “to never settle,” and plans to use that advice to advance her basketball skills and accomplish her goal of dunking. Huckaby’s biggest role models are her parents, and her favorite quote is “[To] the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.”
