Junior Shelby Smith is the Bear of the Week! She is involved in Pop Choir, National Honor Society, her church choir, and is also a part of the Honey Bear drill team. Smith said she hopes that people portray her as someone who is willing to help anyone that needs it.

She is motivated by her parents and her choir teacher, Nikki Hanson, who has guided her to being a member of the All-Region Choir for the past five years. She enjoys watching “Pitch Perfect,” “Vampire Diaries,” and reading “The Hunger Games” books. If she could travel anywhere, she would go to New York with her mom.

In her free time, Smith enjoys watching Netflix, hanging out with friends, and singing. School, friends and the strong relationship she shares with her parents are the things most important to her.
