Junior Carly Cogar is a member of the Lady Bear Softball team, as well as an out-of-school select team. In her free time, she practices softball, hangs out with friends, and attends hitting and pitching lessons.

Cogar said she looks up to her father most in life because of his work ethic and determination. The three most important things to her are her parents, softball, and happiness. She hopes to learn to play an instrument one day and master American Sign Language.

According to Cogar, her parents and the role they play in her life is what’s most important to her. They push her to become the best possible version of herself and they are her constant support in everything she does.

Cogar said she is motivated by success and wants to reach her full potential. Her favorite movie is, “The Greatest Showman” and her favorite quote is, “Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection,” by Mark Twain.
