Nick Mugleston is a junior who spends a lot of his time practicing for several different UIL events and has won a countless amount of medals in computer science, calculator, number sense, and general math. He finds passion in all of the events he competes in, as well as programming and learning in general.

Mugleston said he looks up to his mom and dad, Steve Jobs and Elon Musk. He stays motivated by being the best he can be and striving to always be successful. When he isn’t occupied with learning or competing, one can find Mugleston reading “Dragon Rider,” watching “Back to the Future” or “Hunter x Hunter,” and playing tennis.

If time and money weren’t an issue, he would take his family to Greece because his mom really wants to go there. Mugleston prioritizes school and computer work to prepare for success in his future. His favorite quote is: “A journey of a thousand miles begin with a single step,” by Lao Tzu.
