Sophomore Jordyn Struwe is a member of the JV Lady Bear Volleyball team and is known for always having a smile on her face.

Struwe said she looks up to her mom because she never fails to put God first and she does whatever she can to provide for her family. She hopes to be seen as a successful, hard working person who gets along with everyone.

Her favorite quote is, “Keep your head up” because no matter how hard things get, you have to continually be strong. In her free time, Struwe likes to hang out with friends and play volleyball. She also likes to go places with her family and watch her brothers play baseball and football.

Some of the most important things in Struwe’s life are God and family.

“Nothing means more to me than my siblings and parents,” she said.

In the future, Struwe said she aspires to be successful and to already have her education and career planned out beforehand.

According to Struwe’s child development teacher Jennifer Seago, she is a joy to have in class.

“Jordyn is a well-rounded student who is a friend to everyone,” Seago said. “She is always lifting up others and has a positive attitude about school.”
